Multiple technologies can be used to deliver Telemedicine consultation. Tele communications and Digital communications.There are 3 primary modes: Video -(Telemedicine facility, Apps, video on chat platforms like WhatsApp, etc ), Audio – (Phone, Apps etc), Text (Chat messaging, email etc)

Two types of consultations: First consultations and Follow-up consultations.
First consultation means:

  • The patient is consulting with a provider for the first time; or
  • The patient has consulted with a provider earlier, but more than 6 months have lapsed since the previous consultation; or
  • The patient has consulted with the provider earlier, but for a different health condition.

Follow-up consultation means:

  • The patient is consulting with the same provider within 6 months of previous consultation for continuation of care;
  • There are new symptoms that are not in the spectrum of the same health condition;
A RMP is a person who is enrolled in the State Medical Register or Indian Medical register under the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 [IMC Act, 1956].
We have 3 portals: User/Patient portal, Provider/Doctor portal and Admin portal
Patient portal software is used to improve the quality of care provided while enabling greater communication between providers and their patients. Or Patient portals were developed to improve the way in which patients and healthcare providers interact. A product of requirements, they were mandated as a way to provide timely access to their healthcare.

A Telemedicine admin portal enables administrators to manage all processes within the application. It provides access to all user’s profiles, necessary data, and all the tools used to monetize the application. 

It is an administration console from which we can manage various identity services. Admin portal contains:

  •  Personal Profiles- each administrator needs a profile in the admin panel. This will let you know who made changes; and create different levels of access to protect data and keep control over particular features. 
  • Doctor’s profile management
  • Patient profile
  • Analytics- with analytics inside the admin panel, one can know at all times what’s going on within the app from both technical and marketing standpoints- right from keeping track of how many patients have signed up for the service so far.
  • Schedule appointments
  • Manage provider’s schedule
  • Notification Management- with this feature, push notifications can easily be sent to both patients and doctors. To inform them about the upcoming appointments, updates, special offers etc.
